Pumpkin Spice Cookies and a FREEBIE!

This time of year has been so fun at our house! Even though it’s blazin’ hot down here in Florida, we’re still pretending that it’s fall!

One of my favorite things to do in the fall is bake cookies. My favorite fall time cookies are pumpkin spice chocolate chip…. OMG SO GOOD! Gregg is probably sick on them because I make them every other week. But I shouldn’t because I eat all of them in like 2 days. But seriously, I have to share these with you!

There’s only THREE ingredients in these bad boys and they are all found in the baking aisle so it’s super easy to grab everything you need all at once. Also, I’m not a chef or baker and I don’t follow a real recipe with this. Soooooo reader beware :)

You’ll need Libby’s 100% pure pumpkin (15 oz can)

libby's pumpkin

 1 box spice cake mix

spice cake

1 bag of mini chocolate chips (you really don’t need the whole bag… you could do half and see what you think)

And I don’t have a picture of the cookies because I ate all of them. Sorry.

Steps:

Preheat the oven to 350

Mix the pumpkin and spice cake mix together in a mixer or with a hand held mixer. Once smooth, stir in the chocolate chips.

Bake for at least 20 minutes and then assess the situation (that’s what I do and I usually am good with 20 minutes but you might want to bake them a little longer)

Ingredients (without the pictures)

Libby’s 100% pure pumpkin (15 oz can)

1 box spice cake mix

1 bag of mini chocolate chips (you really don’t need the whole bag… you could do half and see what you think)

Annnnnnd for the real treat… another fall time freebie! After Halloween, I was ready to take down my hocus pocus inspired freebie. And I just can not WAIT to share this one with you! It’s so simple but chic and you definitely need a thanksgiving printable in your house :)

Happy Halloween... with FREEBIES!

It’s that time of year people! Pumpkin carving, scary movies on every movie channel and my all time favorite, Hocus Pocus! I haven’t watched it yet because I’m saving it for the perfect night where I can devote all of my attention to it.

A couple of weeks ago leo+lamb gave away a free fall printable and we’re back to give away not one but TWO free Halloween printables!

One of these signs could be great for your house or Halloween party… I love the chalkboard look for Halloween. It’s a little spooky but mainly cute!

The second printable is for those people who (sadly) won’t be around to pass out candy! Print this printable and put it next to your candy bowl and hopefully you don’t get some greedy goblins who snatch up all the candy.

Happy Fall Y'all!

It’s finally the time of year that I love most. Is there anything better than the leaves changing, the smell of pumpkin spice lattes, and ditching that razor for like 5 months? I live in Florida so I don’t get full blown fall for a while, but I can pretend.

it's fall

So because I've been so MIA, I decided to giveaway something free! Happy Fall, y'all!!

We've Moved... time to decorate!

Well hello!!! It's been quite a while since I've blogged and I will say I have a semi decent excuse… we just moved! Also, we’re having a baby! Lots of stuff going on over here at leo+lamb but I’ve learned that I kind of love the chaos. Speaking of chaos.... it's time to decorate our new home and that has been consuming my thoughts and time for the past two weeks!

leo+lamb chaos is a friend of mine

My sister just recently introduced me to unsplash and it’s completely transformed how I’m decorating my house and I just have to share this website with you! Have you seen it before? Have you ever used photos from unsplash before? I can’t believe I just found it.

Here are some of my favorite pictures:

This is what I've done with photos I've found on unsplash. Once I have my entryway table set up with fresh flowers and have it looking like I want, I'll post an update! I was dreading decorating but this has actually been FUN!
